Resource Fridays Starting Up!

Would it be helpful if you had a bank of knowledge to pull from about where to find information, materials or encouragement that would help you in your walk to be a missionary parent? Things that have worked for other families, and just might work for yours, too?

Beginning next Friday, July 11th, you’ll find information on all kinds of resources that will help you in your walk as a Christian parent, especially as it pertains to witnessing and discipling your children. Want coloring or activity sheets to go with your lesson? Would you appreciate a children’s devotional to lead your discussion? What about ideas for making family worship more tangible for your hands-on child? Or maybe you need something for yourself, something to encourage you that you’re not alone in this endeavor or to keep pushing you in running this race.

Each Friday you’ll find a new resource that just might be exactly what you’re looking for to help you with family devotions, growing your child’s walk, or strengthening your own faith. Consider it a bank in which you can make unlimited withdrawals of information and help!

Consider making deposits of your own! If you’ve used or are using something that is effective in teaching your child, share it with us. Here’s what I’m looking for:

Devotional materials and curriculum
Study programs or resources
Useful supplemental materials
Encouraging/motivating books you’ve read or had your child read
Websites with great ideas for family devotions
Sites with resources for teaching kids
Christian software and computer games
Seminars/workshops you’ve attended that have made an impact
Camps/conferences your child has gone to that have impacted them
Anything that helps parents teach their children about God and His marvelous kingdom!
